a comet arrived...

the universe had something special for me this week...
it sent me a comet...
the comet arrived as every comet does ..fast and furios...unexpected ...and leaving behind a trail of debris and destruction...
a close family member has now a journey to make ... a chemo journey..
the sheer disbelief and inadaquacy that floods the emotions is gargantuan..
i have cried a river ..not only for my dear p...but for all the loved ones who have fought and gone before...oh cripes here i go again....
i thought maybe writing it down i would feel better..but i don't....not one incy bit..
so i am putting my love into stitches as requested ..a chemo cap..
but i shall call it a love beanie ...so there..
and you mr comet can go and take a flying leap...so there..

Oh dear I am sorry. Think positive and try to provide a tranquil haven so that your loved one can maintain a calm, positive focus for the fight. If your loved one is female and the beanie proves to be too hot I have a lovely pattern for a cooler sewn turban. Contact me if you need it.
Cheers
Helen
