Another sunny winters day

I love sunny winter days..
New liberty fabric to play with
Strawberries in a crystal bowl...
Recycled planter boxes found on the roadside collection...
All in all a typical bright winters day
Can't wait for summer...
I never thought I would ever say that
But after been here in oz coming up to our 16 th year ...I am tolerating winter less and less
I adore the light here
Bright sparkly light
Clear and blue
And the most amazing stars at night
Twinkle on black velvet
Almost every night
Love it ..

Day out

What better way to spend a day than with a good friend...
Solitary beaches
Stormy skies
Plenty of fresh air
All in all a great day
For blowing away the cobwebs.

i love it when something i am making ACTUALLY works out exactly as i had planned
it was a lovely hooky project...my little cardie...it really was
again ..it's all about color and using lot's of different ones...but there are no uglies in this one
no sir..all bright and beautiful..
i shall name her ..my bright and beautiful cardie..
off to the veggie patch as it is a beautiful sunny day here in western australia
then we are heading for 5 days rain...
we do need it but i don't have to like it!!!

i love these days..
minimum temp 7 deg celsius
maximum temp 15 deg celsius
ahh lovely ..
lemon trees already in flower..
daisies abound
and my camelia flowering its little heart out..
lovely..
so i thought 'get your daily dose of vitamin D from the old current bun[sun]'
i sat and hooked in the garden ..
for a while...
i so love BLUE clear skies ..
didn't need the sunnies...
hooking is just as wonderful  outside as is in...
feeling re-energised already..
lovely.. glorious ....winter sun ...sunday..

little and large

i thought i would try a different approach to my usual granny square
i was blown away
it was a tad harder on the old digits ..but i persevered..
albeit still knitting socks using a Noro sock yarn ..taiyo sock..
i have to shift from one ...to another ..
i easily get bored or you could say distracted..
i think with me its all about THE YARN..
and the START of a NEW BALL...
yeah its also extremely important about the COLOUR...
i do have to admit ..if the yarn makes my mouth water ...then its coming home with me..
you may even say
yarn is my chocolate..
my red wine..
yarn is in my blood..
i conclude "I AM A YARNAHOLIC"
and i am proud to say it .....
